Ingredients
- 400 g sushi-grade tuna, diced small
- 1 tbsp sriracha
- 2 tsp sesame oil
- 1 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 ripe avocado, diced
- 12 pieces wonton wrappers, fried crisp
- 1 tbsp sesame seeds
Zero Cooking, Maximum Impact
This is my go-to starter when I want to impress without breaking a sweat. No oven, no stove — just beautiful, fresh fish, a sharp knife, and a few incredible flavors.
How to Make It
Dice the tuna into small, even cubes. Gently toss with sriracha, sesame oil, soy sauce, and a squeeze of lime. Be gentle — you don't want to mush it.
Dice the avocado separately and season with lime juice and a pinch of salt.
Layer: avocado on the bottom, spicy tuna on top. Sprinkle with sesame seeds and sliced scallions. Serve with crispy fried wonton chips.
Tina's Tips
- The tuna quality is everything — buy sushi-grade from a trusted fishmonger
- Keep everything ice cold until serving
- Use a ring mold for restaurant-style presentation
- Add a drizzle of truffle oil if you're feeling extra fancy
